We've got visitors out at the lake for 3D Archery Competitions next weekend.

📣 Eastern 3D Nationals - NOVELTY EVENTS UPDATE 📣

As we continue preparing for the 2026 S3DA Eastern 3D National Championship in Rend Lake, Illinois, we wanted to share a small update regarding the open hours for our Novelty/Bonus Events next week. 🏹

After reviewing the overall event timeline, we made a slight adjustment to the daily operating hours to better accommodate shootdowns and travel time for families heading home following competition activities.

Updated hours are now reflected on all official S3DA channels of communication.

If you pre-registered through Sport:80, simply stop by the Novelty Events tent and staff can verify your registration on-site before you shoot.

We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and look forward to an AWESOME week of archery, fun, and competition at Rend Lake! 🔥🏹

Dropped off more 🐍 parts this morning at Benton Community Park District and counted total number of rocks. 92! Another 92 and I bet it reaches the bridge. West Frankfort has challenged Benton to a snake off 😄. We encourage everyone to join in on the fun. If we can provide the space for you to paint one, we'd love to have you come in. $5 fee and we supply everything you need. No age minimum or maximum. The area the snake is in has a slight incline so if you need us to take it for you, we will happily do that. (Even if you paint at home). Thursday, Friday, and Sunday we'll have the studio open for walk-ins, Saturday we are booked so no painting that day. 😀

City wide yard sales are this weekend. If you find yourself with crafty items like beads, jewelry pieces and parts, wood, paint, fabric, or thread left over we'd love to take it off your hands. We're a for-profit business that doesn't get funding from state or federal agencies. If you know crafty people ask them before you discard things. It seems silly to everyone except crafty people. 😁 Keeping costs down keeps class and party costs down.
