Function or Fad. Well I made several berry vortex bowls of different sizes and holes. After testing I found blueberries work best. Added blackberries and it stopped spinning. I have watched several videos any only one had a mix of a lot of berries. I notice the water pressure was high and the berry bowl was sitting in another bowl to keep the water level up. I’m going to say Fad. I see a waste of water in using these.

I have been seeing these bowl in videos, so I thought I would try to make some. Had to try out the spin action before I glaze them to make sure they worked. Good spin. Couple of things to add on next ones would be a handle and a drain lip as I don’t have holes in the bottoms so a little water remains that you have to pour out. What do you think of the berry spin rinse bowls?

While the kiln fires today my husband and I cleaned out the goldfish pond. I got to try out my water waders and setup the fountain totem I made. When the water splashes or drips down it goes into the lower basin for the bees.
