Today is a wonderful day to be transplanting and getting ready for springtime sales! It's a delightful 72 degrees in the greenhouse and thanks to streaming radio stations, WPKN delivered a great afternoon show. The Grateful Dead is awesome transplanting music! LOL! who knew?

It's a beautiful day! I have Garden Mums for sale today (Thursday). This is a variety that comes back with proper care. Colors are Yellow, White and Violet. Quantities are limited. $6 each or buy 4/$20. Cash and carry.

I'm back! I will have mums and some perennial plants available this week during the 411 yard sale. Mums are $6 each or 4 for $20. I will be set up in Delano at "Charlie's place" which is the gated field across from the Hillbilly Bar. I look forward to seeing you there. I will be digging up strawberry plants tonight and have them in bundles of 25 for $20. They need to be planted asap, for berries next May. Variety is June bearing and they are a medium, sweet, juicy berry. Real prolific plants. I just have too many! I will be out there starting tomorrow, Wed - Sat. 10- 5. Come by and say hello!

I will have Strawberry plants available next week (week of Aug 25th) for your fall planting! These are a June bearing variety and are a medium sized, deep red, juicy berry. They are quite prolific and will readily spread and give you runners for the following years crop(s). I am selling them bare root. They are packed in bundles of 25. $25 per bundle. I will dig to order so let me know how many bundles you need. Pickup will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Mon- Fri. at the farm.

Tomorrow, Saturday May 31st I will be at the Burgess Feed Farmer's Market, Hwy 411 in Benton. The Clearance rack still has a few annuals and perennials for planting and I will be bringing the mum flats and fresh cut flowers. Also, you can find some beautiful wood working and handmade goods for your pooch! All locally produced.

We will be there from 8-2. Hope to see you there!

So today I am potting up Garden Mum cuttings. These are well rooted and need to be planted now for fall blooms. They also can be put in a 8" or 9" container to grow on for fall decorating. I fertilize them with a 10-10-10 (Schultz's) through July and usually by around the middle of August buds begin to form. These will bloom this fall! Easy care, just mulch them well at frost for plants next year.

4-pk is $3.00, Full tray (48 Plants) is $30. Currently I have yellow and Bronze available. Message me if interested. I will be at the Burgess Farmers Market on Saturday and will have them there as well.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is Farmer's Martket Day. We will be set up at Burgess Feed from 8-2. I am discounting flower annuals and perennials, as it's almost time for fall planting in the green house. New for tomorrow, are our awesome Zucchini Muffins with lemon glaze and our popular Chocolate Chip with a hint of mint Big Cookie! Yummy! Come by and support your locals.
