Crystal Bridges is opening its new expansion, and the community is invited to celebrate.
Join them June 6–7 for a free weekend of art, music, performances, hands-on activities, artist demos, family tours, wellness events, and more throughout the museum.
The new 114,000-square-foot expansion includes new galleries, creative studio spaces, a community lounge, café, outdoor plaza, splash pad, and more room to experience art in new ways.
A few highlights from the weekend:
June 6:
Live music and dance performances, Keith Haring-inspired artmaking, artist demos, Tai Chi, family tours, story time, Jazz at Lincoln Center pop-up performances, and the opening of Keith Haring in 3D and Artland.
June 7:
More live performances, hands-on studios, wheel throwing demos, screen printing, rug tufting, artist talks, family tours, story time, wellness activities, Jazz at Lincoln Center pop-ups, and activities around the splash pad.
The celebration is free and no tickets are required for the main opening events. Some temporary exhibition events may require exhibition tickets.
