We are proud to be working with community peers and leaders who understand the impact of trees and green space. 🌳❤️🌳

A new Centro San Antonio program is aiming to make San Antonio cooler than it’s been.

Jacqueline Lucio said the coolness that we need isn’t a matter of beautification. It’s all about temperatures.

“It's hot, and in order for us to ensure that those who live, work and play downtown, are comfortable and safe doing so, we need more shade. We need to expand the shade canopy,” Lucio said.

This Centro initiative is called "Trees Everywhere" and aims to plant a hundred trees downtown every year for the next ten years.

September marks the beginning of our busy season! Starting in DC participating in advocacy led by Tree Care Industry Association, to volunteering at Saluting Branches for the 10th year in a row, hosted a company training day with our amazing team (where we met a long-time goal of offering 401(k)s with up to a 4% match), followed by our Annual ISA Texas conference where we caught up with peers from across our great state. Proud to see the recognition of the 6,000 plus trees we’ve had the honor to plant with San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. Great things are happening all over the tree industry and we’re looking forward to seeing where we go from here! 🌳❤️🌳

What a week! Big thanks to my sweet husband for making my 2025 bucket list dream of seeing George Strait and Chris Stapleton in concert come true! I flew in for work on Monday, had productive TCIA board meetings until Wednesday, went to Boston to catch a Celtics playoff game, took a train to Philly where we spent two incredible days, and ended it by attending the best concert I’ve ever been to! I love that work doesn’t feel like work and our industry peers are some of our dearest friends. Now home to see our babies! Happy Mother’s Day to all you mommas out there!
