HUGE steam boiler project completed in Harding NJ!!

We completed the full demolition and safe disposal of an original 1931 boiler, clearing the space for a new 300,000 BTU Williamson knockdown boiler. New unit was assembled and installed, featuring a properly configured drop header for optimal steam quality and system performance. The installation also included a new automatic fill valve and vaporstat for precise pressure control and improved efficiency. To ensure safe venting and long-term reliability, a new chimney liner and cap were installed. The entire system was thoroughly tested, and the home’s heating system has been fully restored—running efficiently, safely, and ready to heat this home for years to come.

This project consisted of a full water service replacement at a residential property in Dover, New Jersey. Work began with excavation from the structure to the municipal connection, during which the existing galvanized water service line was located, exposed, and properly removed. The trench was prepared with a sand bedding to ensure proper support and protection of the new piping. A new copper water service line was then installed and extended to the curb stop in accordance with local code requirements.
Following installation, the system a pressure test was performed. During testing, it was determined that the incoming water pressure exceeded 90 PSI. To protect the home’s plumbing system, a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) andexpansion tank were installed. The new service was then connected to the home’s water distribution system, complete with the installation of new ball valves.
Upon completion of all plumbing work and successful testing, the trench was backfilled and mechanically compacted. All disturbed areas were restored with topsoil, grass seed, and hay. Additionally, a section of the existing sidewalk was formed and replaced with newly poured concrete, restoring the property to its original condition.

The homeowner was experiencing flooding during every rainfall due to a poorly installed drainage system. Our team promptly addressed the issue by removing the failed system and excavating around the full perimeter of the basement. We then installed clean stone, 4” PVC piping, and polydrain, directing the water into a newly constructed sump station. Once the system was in place and the concrete had cured, we sealed the entire installation to ensure radon could not escape from beneath the slab. Through our attention to detail and custom-designed solutions, this home is now fully protected.
