Little guest bath remodel i did!

Old shower looked good still but grout was cracking and there was water damage by the side of the tub. Plus, the owner just wanted a change!

All brand new subway tile with modern waterproofing membrane behind, tile now goes down the side of the tub for extra splash protection. Grab bars all bolted securely into studs.

Repainted room including ceiling, crown, base, door and walls, centered and rehung shelves, and did some other misc jobs like replacing the whirlpool tub motor/blower while I was there

Everyone take care!

Huh, I guess I haven't posted in a while! Have had a lot going on.

Here's a before and after of a project I was working on this winter! Unfortunately for the project a new addition to the owner's family arrived a bit early and we didn't get to finish it! (Congrats!!)

Complete basement remodel and the finished basement will have all walnut paneling, a fluted ceiling, and a home theater. Should be nice and cozy down there with all new insulation!

Stay warm, or cold, or dry or whatever tomorrow is going to bring!

Hey Mom,

Maybe you didn't get a floor to ceiling tiled bathroom this year like you asked for in the comments of the last post but how about a display stand for your poisonous fire hazard antique bubble lights instead????

Enjoyed making this little display with Christmas trees that can be rearranged and safely displays a few sets of antique bubble lights!

Seriously don't let children eat antique bubble lights and they get hot so keep them away from tinsel!

Hope everyone has a great holiday season and stays WARM!

I posted this last winter when I finished tiling, and I posted the vanity when I built it... but I wanted to share how the whole project looks finished! The glass shower door and counter top were done by others.

I'm really excited about how the whole project looks completed!

I can do this in your house too! Give me a call!

Every extra bit of space helps!!

There was just a blank piece of (not color matched) wood to the left of the dishwasher and we found room to squeeze a pan cabinet in there with a drawer front reclaimed from another cabinet repurposed as a door. Also a previous owner had removed the cabinet above the fridge in order to put a larger fridge in so we made a brand new one for up there!

Everyone stay warm!

This was an unfortunate situation, a shower had been installed by a contractor and it was done so poorly that it was leaking in multiple areas. The shower itself was such cheap material that we couldn't see a way to fix it reliably. Even the shower door was pulling out from the wall due to improper backing. The shower pan was so far out of level the door/glass kept pulling it out of the wall. The plumbing was PVC and needed to be replaced so a plumber had already cut into the wall and removed part of the old shower.

Eventually the decision was made to replace the whole thing. I removed the old one, shimmed and leveled as best I could (It's an 1890's house!!) and we put a new better quality shower in.

I think it turned out pretty good!

It's hard to explain the amount of work that went into this one!!! I'm absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and how it looks!

You can safely have a waterfight in this bathroom, maybe clean it with a powerwasher (don't do the ceiling).

We're finishing vanity/closet at a later time due to some last minute changes and the glass door will be done by another company

These are 2 foot by 4 foot tiles with only a 1/16 inch grout lines and the owner and I picked out how the tiles flow through the room to try to match up some grain lines.

Take care,
Drew

Who wants a closet remodel???

No before photos since the owners took it out.

I removed all the mounting from a wire closet system, repaired all the walls, did some touchup paint, assembled and installed a purchased system and then installed additional rods and shelves to match up to the purchased system.

Turned out good!

Hi all, it's been a while! (I keep forgetting to get pictures)

Who do you call when you want to surgically cut in half a cabinet in the middle of your kitchen? maybe change from an oven, cooktop, and hood to a range and a microwave/hood combo?

I enjoy the unique jobs!

I think this one turned out well and really opened up the space coming into the kitchen!

The owner is finishing up the rest of the job like painting and finishing the new butcher block counter. Waiting for an electrician to update the range wiring to put that in place.
