8 weeks since we started this home remodel. Demo, framing, mechanical rough, wood flooring installed, insulation, window and door installationand sheetrock all done. So here we are installing cabinets, trim and tile.
Today we were templated by . While we wait for stone fabrication and installation the wood floors will be sanded, stained and sealed and painting will commence.
Then all we have left to do is finish up electrical and plumbing.
As usual, we are right on schedule to have these clients back in as contracted third week of August.

When redesigning a kitchen one of the first things we look to do is replace that old school single small window over the sink with as wide a window as the space allows while providing clients the storage they need. In this case, given the view of the pond beyond the house, a 7’ wide triple casement was a must. Tip: even if the rest of the house has double hung windows go with a casement so you can easily open the window without throwing your back out.

Ending week four with new wood flooring installed and woven expertly to existing areas to create one flowing space. Sheetrock starts Monday. As much as we love demo putting it back together is equally satisfying.
