We were honored to provide the lighting for this year’s 2026 Maryland ASLA Awards Gala at the historic William Paca House & Garden in Annapolis.

Helping illuminate an evening dedicated to landscape architecture, design excellence, and creative collaboration in such a remarkable setting was truly special. From the gardens and walkways to the atmosphere throughout the event, lighting played an important role in enhancing the experience after sunset.

Thank you to Maryland ASLA and everyone involved for allowing Outdoor Illumination to be part of such a beautiful evening celebrating the design community.

An inspiring evening celebrating landscape architecture, design, and the incredible creative community behind it.

Last week, Outdoor Illumination was proud to attend the 2026 Maryland ASLA Awards Gala at the historic William Paca House & Garden in Annapolis — a beautiful event bringing together landscape architects, designers, builders, and industry partners from throughout the region.

From the award presentations and project displays to the incredible conversations and collaborations throughout the evening, it was a wonderful reminder of how much thoughtful outdoor design can shape the way people experience a space.

Giving Back to the Landscapes We Light

Recently, our team had the opportunity to volunteer with Rock Creek Conservancy for a cleanup and invasive removal effort at the Carter Barron Amphitheater.

Together, volunteers removed over 500 pounds of litter and cleared invasive plants—helping protect the health of the watershed and preserve these natural spaces for the community to enjoy.

The environments we design and illuminate don’t exist in isolation—they’re part of a larger ecosystem.
Supporting the care and restoration of these spaces is just one way we stay connected to the landscapes we work in every day.

Grateful to be part of efforts that make a lasting impact—both in our communities and beyond.
