Hardwood Artisans Solid wood, sustainable furniture, American-made by caring craftsmen in Culpeper, VA since 1976. We are exceedingly proud of our company and its products.

All of our products are produced locally by highly skilled craftspeople in Northern Virginia. Today we make over 800 items ranging from an elegant plant stand to an elaborate, custom-installed wall system all using traditional joinery and beautiful hardwoods. Every piece is lovingly hand-finished to produce a magical item that is a pleasure to touch and own.

How do we say "THANK YOU" to those of you who braved the "Hurricane Ian" rains 🌧 last Saturday and supported us at our Annual🪑🛏 Furniture Fall Fest 🍁🍂?

You guys were awesome, and you kept showing up throughout the day too. Wow, just wow! We're grateful. With 316 tickets sold on Eventbrite, more than 200 showed up. We hope you enjoyed the event, sale furniture, guided shop tours, drawer assembly demonstration, our sustainability and oil finishing class, and of course, the wonderful award-winning BBQ from and ice cream 🍦 from the folks at MooThru.

Our Craftsman Bedroom Collection is characterized by clean, simple lines, sturdy construction, its lack of nonfunctional adornment and perfection of fit and finish.

Needless to say that with such attention to detail only solid natural woods are used. Oak used to be the dominant wood choice, but today we are seeing an uptick in cherry and walnut for this style.
