I know I haven’t posted in 10 months but I promise I’ve been fixing and installing garage doors! Today was a fun transformation going from plain white to a cedar plank look with tinted side glass. Friendly PSA to let garage door professionals handle your garage door issues.

A great friend of mine, who knows a ton about “most” things construction related, decided to try and get his door shut after it had been backed into. He caused more damage than the vehicle did, and missed losing his face by the length of the brim of his hat by removing a couple screws that should NOT have been removed.

Garage doors can pack a punch, and if you’re not careful they can pack more than that!

This was a long, hot, fun day for me! My brother helped unload, my dad brought me some parts I was missing, and my lovely wife brought me lunch! If I’d have stayed much longer the homeowner would have had supper ready! 😂

Old two layer doors replaced with 3-layer Clopay Modern Steel Chocolate doors, 18.4 R value, side light windows with Obscure glass. The doors fit this house perfectly and complete their modern look!

This was a fun transformation! An old, rotting, 400 lb, blue, wooden garage door replaced with a new, fully insulated, light weight, Clopay Ultragrain finish. The curb appeal alone is worth the switch, but a quieter, energy efficient, never-needing-repainted, safer door is what really gets me jazzed! Not to mention an ultra-smooth Liftmaster belt drive opener with LED lights, built in security camera, and a back-up battery! This customer went from a pretty rickety system to not needing to worry about a garage door issue for around 10,000 cycles. If your own door needs improvement, I give free quotes and estimates!
