We wrapped up our 2025 season this week and this year it’s a little bittersweet…

Billy’s packing up and heading to Missouri to live his dream. We’re happy for him but it’s hard to picture Pfitz’s without him.

It’s hard to think of a personal or professional milestone we’ve celebrated without Billy by our side.

For nearly 25 years Billy and Kyle have worked side by side, across three companies, building not just projects but a brotherhood that runs deep. Billy took a gamble on Kyle, believed in what we were building and went all in when Pfitz’s was just an idea.

Employee #1. Ten seasons. Thousands of projects.
A teacher, a mentor and one of the hardest-working guys you’ll ever meet.

Thank you Billy for being part of our story. Thank you for your trust, your patience, the work you poured into this place and most importantly for your friendship.

You’ve earned this next chapter. We love you and we’re going to miss you big time.

Ten years down!

Pfitz’s officially turned 10 this week! What started as a side gig for Kyle, operated out of the family farm, has grown into something more than we ever imagined but are incredibly proud of. As we look back on the last decade, we’re filled with gratitude for thousands of projects, hundreds of customers and countless lessons along the way—some learned faster than others.

Every year brought its own challenges and obstacles (and maybe a few sleepless nights) but also so many wins. We’ve been incredibly lucky to work alongside hardworking, talented people—from the men who showed up day in and day out in the heat, cold, and rain, to the kids who dedicated their summer breaks to us. Watching them learn, grow, and move on to do really great things has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

It’s been about so much more than just fences and decks. We’ve built relationships with other incredible small businesses that go far beyond work and we’ve been able to give back to the community that supports us, something that’s meant more to us than we can put into words.

We’re deeply thankful for every customer who trusted us with their home project, every employee who showed up and gave it their all and every person who supported, encouraged and believed in us along the way.
