I'm sorry but there will not be a sale today. May 2! We've got a birthday kid who requested a special trip. I can take appointments Thursday or you can come by Saturday May 6th from 5-7pm.

Plant sale today April 29 from 5-7pm
* indicates low stock.

Tomatoes- $2 Roma, Rutgers 39, beef steak, brandy wine, spoon, Brad's atomic grape, red cherry, chocolate cherry, black krim, pink beef steak.
Peppers- $2 *sugar rush peach. early jalapeno, Jimmy nardello, banana, shish*to, pimento, Chinese giant sweet, pepperoncini.
Herbs- $2 rosemary, Thai basil, spicy sabor basil, tulsi basil, cinnamon basil, mammoth basil, emerald towers basil, *thyme
$3 orange mint
Perennials- $2
artichoke, rhubarb, red veined sorrel.
Hostas $4 buy 4 get one free.

Natives $5 sochan/cut leaf cone flower. Yellow flowers. Pictures are full grown sochan, grows between 6-10' tall. Partial to full shade. Pollinators love it!

Native blue mist flower. grows 1-2.5 feet tall. Purple and shades of blue possible on flowers.

Featured plant of the week is Red Veined Sorrel. This perennial plant is not only beautiful but goes great in salad, pesto or soup. Think spinach with a lemon flavor. It grows in a tight clump averaging 12" tall. For fresh eating pick leaves at 4-5" tall. For cooking remove larger leaves individually or cut the entire plant at the base. In the heat of summer it will send up a flower stalk, you can let it flower and collect seed or cut it down too force new growth through the fall. Next year it will come back stronger and larger. Either let it grow and give it space or dig it up and divide for friends. Sorrel likes full sun, soil that is rich in organic matter and a deep watering once a week.

Update! the sale today is from 4-7.
We will have slicer, paste and cherry tomatoes.
plenty of peppers and herbs. We are low on sage.
We just got New hostas ready. They are smaller than last week but the colors are amazing!

Next plant sale is Saturday April first. We'll be out from 3-7 pm. New hostas will be ready as well as tomato, peppers, artichoke, asparagus, rhubarb, herbs and we have a few eggplant left. All the native flowers are starting to pop and I'll post when they're ready!
