This year’s Women in Construction Week theme was centered around building community. On Friday, May 8th, the women at Connolly put this into action by packing snack bags for children through a volunteering initiative with Beverly Bootstraps.

Each bag provides a week’s worth of nutritious snacks for one child – all food was donated by Connolly Brothers. This program supports families in the community that rely on the Beverly Bootstraps food pantry.

Our team enjoyed spending time together helping this important local organization.

Connolly Brothers recently completed a design-build fit-up project for CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC, a new tenant at 138 Conant Street in Beverly, MA.

The scope of the project involved renovating existing office space to accommodate a new reception area, offices, conference and meeting rooms, and a modern open office area with new workstations. The project also included updates to the existing employee break room.

Connolly Brothers served as both Project Architect and Construction Manager.

Connolly Brothers recently completed the renovation of a new 7,500-square-foot Music and Performing Arts Center for the Demakes Family YMCA in Lynn, Massachusetts.

The new center includes a modern performance theater, radio station, podcasting studio, recording studios, individual and group practice rooms, a training room, library, and a dedicated technology room.

Demolition of an existing locker room and extensive updates to meet current building codes were required to build this innovative, state-of-the-art facility.

The completed center significantly expands the Demakes Family YMCA’s ability to provide youth in Lynn and surrounding communities space to discover and learn about performing arts, music, and digital production.
