Plant hi-light, the Spiderwort or Tradescantia. Just when you think they are bloomed out they send up 5 more blooms. We have ‘Sweet Kate’ & ‘Bilberry Ice’. Fun Fact: Spiderwort (tradescantia ohiensis) is an indicator plant for radiation or certain air pollutants.

This weekend is shaping up to be a nice one! It will also be the first weekend we are open Sundays. It’s a great time to start planning or planting. We just got another load of mature 25 gallon deciduous trees, beautiful evergreens and a variety of shrubs to add to what we already have in the yard!

We have loads of things in stock here at the nursery! One of my favorite times of year is when the lilacs start blooming, I wish I could bottle up the smell of greenhouse 1. We have so many varieties of lilac, come check out what we have or look at our website and search lilac for the varieties.

It feels a little less like spring this week but that doesn’t mean things aren’t happening here. Early bloomers like lilacs, columbine, brunnera, lungwort & pincushion are showing off! We received our first order of a mix of perennials and shrubs.
