QOH:mmam is the center point of my Reflections series. Inspired by Made Me a Man by Jackson Wang, this piece is rooted in the song’s melancholy yet quietly optimistic tone, with a strong focus on its lyrics.

This painting represents a turning point; a moment of looking back at the journey I’ve taken mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It holds the realization that the past is the past, and that growth does not happen in spite of it, but because of it. Every experience, every version of myself, was necessary to arrive here.

While working on this piece, I remember showing it to my mom and breaking down in tears. Not out of sadness, but out of release. For the first time, I felt that I was laying my vulnerability onto the canvas without hesitation; allowing reflection, honesty, and acceptance to exist all at once.

QOH:mmam is about recognizing growth, honoring the journey, and allowing yourself to move forward with clarity and grace.

I’ll probably say this every time I share a piece from this series…thank you. MAGICMAN 2 became the glue that connected pieces I didn’t realize were missing, and gave me the confidence to lay everything out on the table.

Sooo, I’ve been wrestling with a tiny case of artist’s block, but don’t worry! The brush is still moving and the photos are still...photo-ing. My Reflections series has actually grown from 5 to 6 pieces (apparently I can’t stop reflecting 👀). The goal is to have the whole series wrapped up by the end of the year...hold me accountable, yall!

Now, for the question I keep getting: “Do you have a store?” Short answer: not yet. Long answer: I’m working on it! I used to have one, but I’m revamping everything because when you order from me, it has to be chef’s kiss 💋 quality. Only the best for yall. I’m currently researching services and some local businesses to make sure the store is exactly how I want it.

QOH.gbad is the second piece in my Reflections series, inspired by MAGICMAN2 by . The song for this painting is GBAD. The beat carries a cinematic, carefree vibe; like riding through the city with the windows down and shades on, a scene where realization takes center stage.

This painting reflects that moment when another side of me begins to surface, unapologetically. It isn’t defiance. It’s clarity. It’s the recognition that I’ve changed, that I’m choosing myself, and that I can move forward lighter, freer, and stronger.

Through its layered forms and shifting energy, QOH.gbad captures a glimpse into that unfolding reality: a new version of me breaking through, unafraid to be seen.

Chillin in the mountains my besties this week! The first night, we just stood under the stars, letting the silence and sparkles do their magic. I quite literally drew with the stars..with my camera. I had a “BROOOO LOOK AT THIS” moment and everything🌌

And for the bonus… our very first bear encounter 🐻 😂 Shoutout to .illus for snapping this while we were casually debating, “Do we… invite him in or…?” 🤣

This painting, titled “QOH.HTL”, is the start of a new chapter for me—visually and emotionally. It’s inspired by “Hate to Love” by , a song that pulled something deep out of me I didn’t expect.
I used to give all my love away and didn’t know how to hold any back for myself. This piece captures more than just that—it’s also a realization. A moment of truth. It’s me looking back and evaluating past relationships and interactions, the ways I’ve been hurt (even hurting myself with my own thoughts), and how I gave so much without truly being seen. It’s a reflection of how far I’ve come, and how I’m finally learning to see myself fully and with love.
I’m excited for Jackson’s upcoming album, Magic Man 2, to drop—it’s already stirring so much creative energy in me. This painting is just the beginning. The rest of this series—tentatively titled “Reflections”—will be inspired by the songs from the album as they’re released. I don’t know where the music will take me creatively, but I’m ready to feel it all.
And honestly… , if this ever reaches you, thank you for making art that inspires mine. If you ever feel like naming this series, I’d be honored. 🖤
