On the theme of the 50th anniversary of......an epic & fulfilling decision!
On 9/22/68 +/- classes started for fall quarter in my first year of architecture school.
When I told a friend I was going into architecture he said "that building never closes and that never turn out the lights....NEVER".
Which reminds me of the night before a big project was due and our studio was full and the music was loud; a rookie night watchman came in and wanted to know what the hell was going on; "did yall break in?...it's the middle of the night...what is this!" We explained the situation and he left but I don't think he believed us.
Marvin Johns gave him a send off with "We're going to take your keys away from you!"
