Here’s a peak at the new retail building we’ve designed called BaseCamp. It will be a part of the Canopy development across from the Pelham Civic Complex and the Oak Mountain Amphitheater. The building will be home to Cahaba Cycles and Taco Mac, opening in 2023. The site is also at the gateway to Oak Mountain State Park.

BaseCamp and the Canopy will also be accessible by bike: Pelham has just added bike lanes to State Park Road that now connect you from the site to all 9,940 acres of Oak Mountain State Park.

Red Mountain Church celebrated its 20th Year last weekend with services at the Avon Theater and a picnic at Railroad Park.

We designed this courtyard for the church in 2015, which added an outdoor gathering space to the Avon. The courtyard also enhanced the street scape in Lakeview by providing a pocket park to a community lacking in greenspace.

This project received a AIA Birmingham Merit Award in 2016.
