Positioned to anchor the corner and screen parking beyond, the architecture draws from its warehouse context while offering a calm, light-filled interior experience for patients.

A legacy reimagined.

In 1996, the Bloomfield Open Hunt Club began a new chapter, replacing its original farmhouse clubhouse with a building rooted in continuity. The Ring Room and indoor riding arena remained, anchoring a composition that carries the club’s history forward.

The new clubhouse was designed to reflect the traditions of the sport and the character of the grounds, where gathering spaces, materials, and proportion draw from a long-standing equestrian heritage.

Decades later, it continues to serve as a place of ritual and community, shaped by memory and built for what comes next.

Main North Lofts Royal Oak brings a disciplined composition of brick, glass, and rhythm to a full city block, drawing from the character of early industrial buildings while accommodating the demands of contemporary urban living.

That evolution continues this summer with a new tiki bar, updated terrace, and expanded pickleball courts, extending the club’s experience into the landscape.

Crafted millwork, layered interiors, and classical detailing come together to create spaces that feel both enduring and immediate.

That dialogue continues today. A new Rugby Grille and bar, now under construction, builds on this foundation—extending the life of the hotel through thoughtful evolution and renewed gathering spaces.

A closer look inside the Michigan First Credit Union Headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.

The glass lobby atrium brings daylight deep into the building and creates an open, welcoming arrival experience for employees, members, and visitors. Warm wood panels, transparent glass walls, and views between floors reinforce a sense of connection and activity throughout the space.

As the heart of the building, the atrium serves as both a gathering place and a window into the daily life of the Credit Union.
