The Seaside crew spent some time with James Lawson from Lower Shore Workforce Alliance checking out their new virtual reality career exploration program. Through immersive VR technology, participants can gain hands-on experience, learn key concepts, and build confidence in different careers using a safe, engaging environment.

We had the opportunity to check out the plumbing program and we had a blast! No leaks. No muddy crawlspaces. No wet socks. Just a whole lot of learning and a few laughs while exploring the future of career training.

Some call them video games, we call them tomorrow's plumbers.

This past Friday, Seaside Plumbing joined the Town of Berlin for their Annual Bathtub Races!

We had an absolute blast getting our tub race-ready, competing alongside some great teams, and hearing everyone congratulate us on our "second-place" finish.

The Bathtub Races are one of our favorite traditions because they're about more than just racing. They're a chance to show up for our community, have some fun together, and make memories with the people who make Berlin such a special place.

Each month, Seaside Plumbing chooses a different nonprofit organization to support by donating 50% of all dispatch fees. May, we were honored to donate just over $3,000 to The Mary Mac Foundation.

For the month of June, 50% of our Dispatch Fees are going to The Life Crisis Center, Inc - The Center's mission is to improve the quality of life in our community through crisis intervention and violence prevention. The licensed, professional staff uses national best practice treatment models to serve Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties.

We never want our love for this community to go unnoticed. At Seaside Plumbing, caring for our customers, our team, and the people around us is part of who we are. That’s why we’re sending a huge THANK YOU to our incredible customers for making monthly donations like this possible. Whether he's helping schedule appointments, answering questions, or making sure customers feel taken care of, Ryan brings patience, professionalism, and positivity to every conversation.

I am sure you have heard of skeletons in the closet, but that's not where every homeowner keeps them. Ever heard of skeletons in the crawl space?

During a recent service call, our team felt like someone was watching them. Cue the spooky music (you know the one) because this is what they saw...

Don't worry, no mystery crime scene here, just a very convincing fake skeleton giving the crew a good jumpy scare and an even better laugh afterward.

Reminder of the Town of Berlin Chair Placement Policy listed below.
4:30 is the APPROXIMATE time the course will be set so chairs could be placed safely. We need adequate room to place the haybales and street barricades before chairs are being placed.

**Town of Berlin Chair Placement Policy**

Applies to All Public Events including the Berlin Christmas Parade and Bathtub Races.

To ensure safety, accessibility, and fairness for all attendees, the Town of Berlin has established the following policy regarding the placement of chairs at public events:

1. No Chairs Allowed Before Road Closures:
You may not place chairs on sidewalks or public areas for any event until the roads have been officially closed by the Town of Berlin.

2. Early Chair Removal Policy:
• Any chair placed before the road is closed will be removed by Town staff.
• Removed chairs will be secured in a designated location.
• You may retrieve your chair by contacting the Town after the event.

3. Why This Rule Matters:
This policy is in place to:
• Ensure clear and safe pedestrian pathways.
• Maintain ADA accessibility for all attendees.
• Allow equal opportunity for everyone to enjoy the event.
