Our safe rooms are all made with 1/4" thick steel plate with a 2" x 2" x 3/16" steel square tubing frame on 2 foot centers, fully welded (not bolted together), anchored to the existing concrete floor with epoxy bolt system. You'll find a lot of companies making theirs out of 3/16 thick steel plate, which is considerably weaker. Unless it is ordered with a specific height, they are 6' 2" tall outsi

de - 6' 0" inside. Each unit comes with a fold up steel bench the entire length. Door swings inwards to prevent getting trapped inside by debris being against the door after a storm. We can custom make any size to fit your application, whether it's for an existing home or new construction. FEMA recommends 5 square feet per person. Pricing:

4' x 6' - $3800.00, 4 person
4' x 8' - $4500.00, 6 person
6' x 8' - $5200.00, 9 person
($1000.00 deposit required upon ordering.)
