My name is Ben Fortson and as a former furniture-maker, I've been sharpening tools in Black Mountain for 17-years. I offer a LOCAL sharpening service at very reasonable rates. I can usually get your tool back to you in 1-Day or if you call ahead, I'll sharpen while-you-wait! You can drop your tool off 24/7 at our convenient Drop Box/Kiosk on McCoy Cove Road.

What a privilege to sharpen some really cool knives yesterday--a collection of unique tools spanning over 100 years. From a WWII bayonet to antler-handled carving-ware, I was feelin' the history.
