Hi, it's Morgan from Mountain Tropics!

If anyone is in the Roanoke and Salem area and hasn't had a chance to check out our business Mountain Tropics, we will be set up at the Spring Craft and Vendor Show at the Berglund Center on Saturday May 4th!
We were going to do the mall in Christiansburg but got accepted last minute at this event and wanted to expand our location and try our biggest event this far!

We have rare and common plants, air plants, locally handmade stained glass art, macrame, custom potted plants, and handmade Terreriums available.

We currently have a variety of airplants to choose from. Small,medium, and large sizes of all different kinds 😇

I love airplants because you can place them in cute trinkets or next to a plant to give it more character. 🧚‍♀️
Air plants are also easy to care for!
They enjoy bright indirect light and I usually soak my airplants in water for 15 min once a week.

Who wants to join me on Facebook Live at 12:00pm Noon today, as i do a tour of all the plants we are growing and ready for sell! We've been working extra hard to build our selection and becoming prepared for the Spring and Summer.
I've been going through a lot of health issues, so it's been difficult to post often. I am going to try and post weekly so you guys can stay updated on all the progress we are making here on the mountain.

🌿Hi Planty Friends! Mountain Tropics will be having another plant sale this SATURDAY, APRIL 6TH at the NRV Mall in Christiansburg, Va.🌿

🪴Our plant stand will be inside the mall across from Homegoods and the kids' play area.
The Arts and Crafts Fair that includes other local businesses will also be going on, so you don't want to miss out!

We will be located inside Kief of Blacksburg near the center of downtown.

🌸Spring is here, so it's time to start growing!🌸
Come by Kief Blacksburg and try their Stump Tea and check out their new supplies for your own grow set up: Grow tents, Fertilizer, Soil, Planters, Grow Lights, Etc.
We will have a hand-picked variety of our locally grown tropical plants and well established terreriums to choose from.

🌱We had a blast getting to do a pop-up sale at The Edge Apartments and on the first day of Spring 2024!
We grew plants for a free giveaway to the first 50 residents who showed up. The giveaway plants were the Hawaiian Grass Plant, Reverse Variegated Spider Plant, Curly Variegated Spider Plant, and the Swedish ivy.
Our handpicked selection was brought along for purchase as well. 🌱
It was a joy getting to see fellow plant lovers and sharing our passion for growing!

Best plant sale we've had yet! We worked very hard to curate an experience when walking upon our selection. We enjoy creating plants and accessories that will bring personality into your home! Our next pop-up sale will be at The Edge Apartments in blacksburg inside their lobby if anyone wants to come check out what we have! Message us if you'd like for us to build you a custom terrerium or create a selection of plants for you or even if there's a specific plant you're looking for!
