What use to be just a small landing/stairs with a small patio is now a nice usable deck space. Here are some pictures of the completed project along with some others the homeowner sent me yesterday of their set us as they enjoy this beautiful weather. There are also a couple of pictures of what it looked like before we got started.

This project we used Trex Transcends Lineage Biscayne decking with the Trex Transcends all white composite railing system. We also have LED lighted post caps and riser lights on the stairs and installed 1x6 white vinyl trim horizontally as the skirting with a gate for access below.

Deck/Screen Porch Remodel……… We don’t remodel (save the framing) often, but this one turned out really nice. We made one small alteration to increase the space for the grill area and another to improve the stair design.

We used Transcends lineage Biscayne decking for the field with Transcends Topicals Lava Rock for the picture frame, partition, fascia and screen porch trim. We also replaced the vinyl siding inside the screen area with 1x6 white vinyl trim with and 1/8” gap. The railings are signature powder coated aluminum charcoal black with square balusters. We used the system over the top of the joists before installing the decking and around the post/beam trim of the enclosed room.

This is Liam, a young man that loves construction. We had the opportunity to replace Liam’s deck last summer and he loved watching everyone work so we asked if he wanted a “Decks by RTC” hat. He said yes… the picture of Liam by the pile of stone is when he first got the hat last year and the second picture is one his mom sent me of him still wearing his hat this week. Both pictures made my day when I received them. The following pictures are of Liam’s deck after we finished the replacement and what it looked like before we started.

One of the many projects that we completed this past winter. It’s not easy for our guys to work in the brutal cold, fighting ice and snow but each person on our team is dedicated to make sure every project is completed with the highest level of quality.

This is a replacement of a preexisting deck with some minor alterations to make the overall function and flow much nicer.

We used Trex Transcends Havana Gold as the main body of decking with Trex Transcends spiced rum as the picture frame, fascia trim and cocktail style deck board on top of the Trex Signature all black powder coated aluminum railing system. We also installed a combination of skirting styles, one with picture framed black vinyl lattice and the other with horizontal deck boards. These materials come with a 50 year material warranty and a 10 year labor warranty backed by Trex because they were installed by a certified installer
