A great example of overloading a deck and the consequences that will most likely occur!
* This man was not harmed in this incident that occurred, thankfully! But sadly that is not always the case.

For reference:
In general, most wood decks can withstand 100 lbs PER SQ FOOT.

And composite is 120 lbs PER SQ FOOT

According to International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), about 90% of deck collapses occur as a result of the separation of the house and the deck ledger board, allowing the deck to detach from the house. This is typically due to poor craftsmanship, and of course overloading with too much weight! Don't let this be you!
