There is a massive difference in the quality and color in different tall fescue grasses. The general Lesco seed seems to have a yellow tint also. I'll stick to my more expensive seed that looks darker green/blue

These lawns have been mowed at same height/same time so it's not a watering problem or fertilizer issues causing the yellow (taken during spring)

From a thin, weedy lawn to very decent. Will be thicker and healthier come next year.
