Everybody always asks “How in the world did you come up with this idea?”
Hunting out of a stand always was constrictive to me, bolted units after a year squeaked and creaked, limited movement and were never comfortable. Add a child in to that mix and it only doubled the frustration. Ground blinds and box blinds were ok but if the deer was on the move and we had to move from window to window, we we

re always making noise and losing deer. My son is skinny but had broad shoulders and 2 man stands were uncomfortable and noisy and if the deer took off behind you, you could never turn around to get a shot completely especially if he put the tree between you and him. After losing shots on over 7-8 deer I would call “Wall Hangers” over the years, I had enough with these traditional forms of deer stands and blinds. I came up with this design and my father and I built the first one back in 2011, after multiple changes to the design, constant changes to find the right composite for the wheels, getting it light enough that 2 guys could simply install this in the field and using repurposed material for a deck that will never fade, crack or warp we finally have an incredible deer stand that you can mount to your favorite tree and hunt out of it for many years to come. This one is made from aluminum for a duck group down in Mid Mo. We use plastic platforms for these whether they are for duck, deer or bear. They are completely silent, whether you are gliding around in your chair or walking around the platform. Can't wait to go down and do some filming on this one this year. Quack Smacker 360.
