Just in! October 2024 reports have been released from Florida Realtors® detailing recent real estate activity in Palm Beach County. The reports compare year-over-year data. Here are statistics on single-family homes.

As the region enters the final quarter of 2024, Palm Beach County continues to see more inventory both year-over-year and month-over-month. Active listings in the county currently sit at 5,568, a 31.8% increase from this time last year. At the same time, median time to contract has also increased to 45 days, showing signs of longer closing times and/or declining numbers of cash sales.ho"The county’s months’ supply of inventory continues to increase, with October finishing off at 5 months, showing signs of moving towards a balanced market,” says David Serle, 2024 president of Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®. “As the market continues to shift and prices fluctuate, it’s important to contact a Realtor® to serve as a trusted advisor to both protect consumers and understand their unique needs during the homebuying or selling process.”
