Hey all, we had a great meeting tonight! A lot of very insightful comments and recommendations were made. Keep it coming!
Recap:
- Group members will be investigating Flock Security and Cellular on Patrol (COP) to up our tech game to enhance our visual assessments and event-to-awareness timeframes.
- Community Security
— regular and deliberate contact with the developer to install a gate solution in the new area of the neighborhood
— need to investigate more deterrence solutions: visible trail cams with live feeds, signage (if you can read this, you’re in range, entrance enforced by Apache), security guard, etc.
- Amber Alert-type system that obnoxiously notifies neighborhood members of current activity. GroupMe was the medium of choice brought forward.
- Drones for surveillance/reconnaissance and drones for find, fix, track….armed drones for engagement? “Hey, where’s the thief?” “Similar to God, he’s kinda all over the place.”
- In-home Owl systems in case this goes beyond cars
- Prayer - because if He’s with us, who can be against us?
Conclusion: outstanding contributions to tonight’s discussion. The threat of break-ins will always remain, and they will evolve. As ideal as we’d like to make it, “the enemy always has a vote”, so let’s continue to get our thinking caps on and develop creative solutions.
Thanks all!
Mike
