ON THIS DATE, 94 YEARS AGO: A tornado killed 2 people and injured 30 along a nine mile path in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. A second tornado killed one and injured five people in Cherokee County, South Carolina. Damage was estimated at F2 based on historical accounts.
