Idaho Juvenile Justice Association

Idaho Juvenile Justice Association IJJA is an organization dedicated to a partnership for a sound juvenile justice system in Idaho.

The IJJA was formed in 1991, as an effort to more clearly define the unique role of Juvenile Justice in the larger correctional/rehabilitation system. Our mission is to provide a forum for discussion and resolution of issues related to juvenile justice; to provide a central focus on networking for professionals in career development, service delivery and progressive growth in the profession; to pr

ovide leadership for Idaho in the promotion of community safety, victim restoration, and effective service delivery for at- risk youth, their families and communities.

🌟 What a powerful start to Day 1 of the 2025 IJJA Conference!

We kicked off this morning with an incredible keynote from Lynn Reimer: “Trends in Substance Use… What You Need to Know.” Her insight into current challenges and patterns set the stage for the important conversations to come.

Our first round of breakout sessions offered something for everyone:
🔹 Lynn Reimer (Part 2): Trends in Substance Use
🔹 Hakim Hazim & Attorney John Bassett: Captive Minds: Boys and Global RECKON Movements
🔹 Harris Neustaedter: Recipes for Rest and Reset
🔹 Judge Cynthia Jordan: Jurisdiction in Indian Country

Thank you to all our speakers and participants for bringing such energy, expertise, and engagement. 🙌
