We work as interpreters with our clients; we take complex thoughts, ideas and emotions and translate them into a language of material, space and light by envisioning our environment in innovative, exceptional ways. We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of our founder C. Ed Trout, at the age of 92, in the arms of his wife Louise, yesterday at his home in Monterey California after a short illness. Ed started Trout Architects in 1968 after a successful career as the head architect for Albertsons. Since retiring he continued a full life filled with family, architecture, music and a passion for golf.
