Completed a chimney repair in Bolton. The client was experiencing a leak by their chimney flashing. First, we came over to assess where the leak was coming from. We checked the chimney flashing, crown, and bricks, along with the surrounding shingles in the area. We noticed that the chimney did not have the proper flashing.

Here are the steps we took to provide the most excellent service with the proper solution:
1. We removed the damaged and surrounding shingles.
2. We installed ice and water shield on the affected area.
3. We matched the closest color of shingles to the existing roof and installed them.
4. We installed the proper step flashing to divert the water, including adding a cricket to divert the water from pooling behind the chimney.
5. We ground down the chimney and installed lead, covering the step flashing that was diverting the water.
6. Finally, we sealed the chimney with a synthetic polymer caulk or mortar cement to complete the job.
