We had a nice surprise “visitor” today, Army Sgt.Shakira Green!!! Shakira is an Assistant Project Manager at RMT. She recently received temporary orders for active duty for six-months. We are beyond proud of her professionalism and patriotism....come back safe & soon!!!!

We recently said farewell to a standout member of our RMT Family!

Daniel Egekwu, CAPM joined us five years ago, fresh out of VSU with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Economics and Project Management. From day one, his curiosity, focus, and drive set him apart. I still remember feeling like he was interviewing us.

Over the years, he’s grown into a trusted leader, taking on challenging projects and pushing the boundaries of innovation. Most recently, he played a behind-the-scenes role in building Virginia’s first 3D-printed concrete home.

Now, Daniel is off to UVA on a full scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering, joining their Research Team to further develop 3D concrete printing technology. His final project with us? Co-managing a 7-story, 1,250-space parking garage at UVA, a strong finish to an incredible chapter.

We’re proud, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead. Congratulations, Daniel!

🚧👷🏾‍♂️ Intern Spotlight! 👷🏾‍♂️🚧

This summer we had the chance to work with two of our long-time interns on the new parking deck project with Breeden. For 10 weeks, they jumped in, added real value, and reminded us why it’s so important to invest in the next generation of builders.

✨ Terry Plymouth – starting his first year at ODU

Both started interning with us back in high school, and it’s been awesome watching them grow.

Big shoutout to our Senior Supt Yves Hairston, PM Daniel Egekwu, and Team Breeden for taking them under their wing and being great role models along the way.

Checked in with both this week; school is off to a solid start. We’re proud of you guys and excited to see what’s next. Keep building, keep learning, and keep pushing forward. 💪🏽
