Our Story
Rosin Woodworks was started in 1928 by Emil Rosin. In 1935, the property at 401 West Green Bay Street was purchased and the first shop was built. The main business consisted of building and remodeling homes in the Shawano and surrounding counties. Additionally, Emil built and remodeled many kitchens in both new and older homes. In 1971, the business was sold to his son, Charles Rosin, and his wife Sandra. In 1972 and 1974 the building size was increased. In 1975, Rosin Woodworks became a corporation. By the mid 1980’s a business decision was made to drop the home building services and instead, specialize in the manufacture of custom built cabinets and millwork that includes the manufacture of moldings, planking and flooring. Stair parts have since been added to the custom line for its customers. In 2003, Rosin Woodwork Corporation moved into a new expanded facility, 5 times its previous size, located at 408 Mueller Drive. Since its conception, Rosin Woodwork Corporation has been a family business. It now employs all of Charles and Sandra Rosin’s children, Keith Rosin, Dan Rosin, & Jill (Rosin) Tauchen. A family atmosphere, quality products, dedicated, hard working employees, and loyal customers have been the success of this growing business’ past, present, and future.
