About Us.

Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa - brothers and founders, Colby and Noah Burt, have always had a passion for various home renovation, building, and woodworking projects. Whether it be Colby working in his woodworking shop or Noah completely renovating his own home, they are always looking for their next project to work on. Their love for creating something with their hands started very early in their childhood and was inspired by their Dad showing them the way through his construction business. Having strong foundations for family and hard work, Colby and Noah have long talked about starting their own business together. For Noah’s 26th birthday in fall of 2023, Colby set up and created their LLC making their long standing dream of Burt Fencing a reality. Colby and Noah look forward to building their family business from the ground up and adding all future customers to the Burt Fencing family.
