Growing tip #1- Soil is super important to vegetables.

If planting in pots try to go with an organic potting soil. Or make your own. Walmart sells organic topsoil amendments full of nutrients for your plants to absorb over time. Just add recommended amounts to top of soil, massage in and water. It’s that easy to make sure your plants stay healthy and happy.

If growing outdoors we like to go with a 60-70% topsoil, 20-30%compost and 10% perlite or vermiculite.

Believe it or not. The ph of your soil is just as important in pots or gardens and super easy to fix if you have a ph soil tester. Most vegetables like a ph of 6.0-7.0, and the best range in the middle around 6.5. To raise your soils ph, simply add eggshells. To lower ph in soil add some coffee and water and recheck your soils ph. Ph below 6.0 is to acidic for most vegetables to thrive.

Welcome to Year Round Gardener.

We will be selling tomato plants , peppers plants and other varieties of vegetable plants throughout the year.

We will post updates weekly along with pictures and tips on growing indoor and outdoor plants.

We use only organic nutrients for plants grown. All plants will be grown indoors and acclimated to the outside weather before pick up so they are ready to plant.

You can place orders for trays of 72 seedlings for 75$. 20$ deposit due until pick up. Grown in trays until your ready to transplant. Usually no more than 3-4 weeks (Depending on what you want, may take a few weeks extra) in these small containers before they would need transplanted into bigger pots or into your garden. Usually there will be more than 72 plants in a tray. If you want them transplanted before pick up there will be extra charges for pots and soil.

Individual plants will be 2$ each in a small cardboard pot. Or 3$ each in a 1/2 gallon pot. Plant sizes will differ.

HAPPY GROWING!!!
