I love how this bar doesn’t try too hard—it just works. The rift white oak keeps things warm and grounded, while those darker upper cabinets add just enough contrast to give it a little edge. And that reeded glass? It’s doing that perfect in-between… letting you show off the good stuff without putting everything fully on display.

It’s tucked right next to the fireplace, which honestly makes it feel less like a “bar” and more like part of the conversation. You can picture someone pouring a drink, someone else leaning on the counter, and the rest gathered around the table nearby—it all flows.

And can we talk about function for a second? Plenty of storage, a clean workspace, and just enough room to actually use it without feeling cramped. It’s one of those spaces that looks beautiful in photos but makes even more sense in real life.

Simple, intentional, and made for real moments—that’s the kind of design I’ll take every time.✨

This month marks 4 years with Marcus Reoch on the Martin Wood Products team—and what an impact he’s made.

Marcus is incredibly detail-oriented, thinking through every step of the process to make sure deliveries arrive exactly as they should—safe, precise, and damage-free.

Around the shop and on job sites, he’s earned the nickname “the wizard of backing trailers”—and honestly, it fits. Watching him maneuver is kind of unreal (and a little entertaining).

Simply put, he’s one of the best delivery drivers we’ve ever seen. No exaggeration.

Anika Tompkins is coming up on 3 years with Martin Wood Products, and we’re lucky to have her leading the sanding department. She’s focused, reliable, and always ready to lend a hand—someone the whole team can count on.

Anika loves the community here at MWP, especially the friendships, positive environment, and the humor that keeps the shop running strong. And of course, her trusty sidekick Maggie is never far, cheering on Anika and the entire crew 🐾

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Anika out in the mountains, staying active and enjoying the outdoors.

There’s something about a well-designed prep space that just feels right—and this one is all about the details.

The cabinetry is done in white oak with a custom groove slab front that adds just the right amount of texture without overwhelming the space. It keeps everything feeling clean, intentional, and effortlessly elevated.

And then there’s the open shelving.
White oak shelves paired with a gun metal finish on the metal supports bring in that perfect balance of warmth and edge. Functional, yes—but also a design moment all on its own.
