Tomorrow, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 9:00am is Auction Day.

We want to thank the Frankenstein Ball Park Association for providing food to purchase throughout the day! They will have cinnamon rolls, donuts, & coffee for breakfast. They will also have chili, hot dogs, chili dogs, chili nachos, tea, lemonade, water, soda, & coffee for lunch.

Forms of payment taken for auction items are cash & check with an ID. All payments will go through the auctioneer, not Countryside Garden's LLC.

We will have a skid loader available to help you load your items. You will have 3 weeks from the sale date to pick up your items if you can't take them the day of the sale. They will need to be picked up by Saturday, March 18th.

Thank you to everyone who has helped Andy & I in any way to get ready for this sale. We are forever grateful to all of you!

I want to answer a few questions to hopefully make it easier for everyone regarding the auction on Saturday, February 25th, at 9am.

- We are not allowed to sell any item before the auction. Every item has been listed through the auctioneer so out of respect for all the work the auctioneer is doing & per the agreement we have made with them, we can not sell anything prior to the sale.

- Forms of payment taken are cash & check with an ID. All payments will go through the auctioneer, not Countryside Garden's LLC.

Well we are getting closer to the sale date, only a week & a half away. Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at 9:00am.

We want to thank the Frankenstein Ball Park Association for providing food to purchase throughout the day! They will have cinnamon rolls & coffee for breakfast. Along with chili, hot dogs, chili dogs, chili nachos, tea, lemonade, water, & coffee for lunch.

All Greenhouses & Nursery supplies will be sold on Auction, Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at 9:00am. Location - 2368 Highway C Bonnots Mill, MO 65016.

* Land is already sold so all greenhouses will need to be removed from premises within 3 weeks of sale, by Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

After a lot of thought and prayers and weighing the pros and cons of all aspects of our decision, Andy and I have decided it is best for our family, to close Countryside Garden’s LLC. This was not an easy decision for us as we loved growing beautiful flowers for our customers and Andy, and I loved working together every day.

In a nutshell, it comes down to the economy. With prices of our supplies and shipping costs that have doubled and, in some instances, tripled, we feel it is not fair to our customers to increase our prices to the degree that we would need to, to remain open.

If you purchased gift cards from us in 2022 or 2023, please contact us and we will refund you the remaining balance left on your gift certificates.

Andy and I would like to thank all our customers for supporting our business and to everyone that has helped us in any way, whether that be with planting, watering, or helping with building and maintenance or supporting our business in any way. We will forever be grateful to all of you.

Hi guys!

I am putting together a list of types of seeds we will have available at the nursery & I would like your input. Is there anything in particular you would like us to carry?

We always carry 2 kinds of sweet corn; Peaches & Cream along with Ambrosia.

Just a couple I would like to carry are green beans & lettuce, etc.

As far as plants, we always have several kinds of tomatoes & peppers, seed potatoes, onion sets & bulbs, 2 kinds of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, zucchini, strawberries, cantaloupe, & watermelon.

Obviously we cannot carry every kind of seed but we would be willing to provide them if we have a lot of interest in a certain variety of seeds.

Please comment on this post with the types of seeds you would be interested in us carrying at the nursery.

This is such a good reminder that I needed to hear today.
As I am sitting here feeling a little overwhelmed & trying to decide where to even begin with all this paperwork; taxes, (almost done, thank goodness lol), confirming orders, ordering seeds & tags, implementing procedures to make things run smoothly, preparing greenhouses for planting which starts in 3 weeks, organizing everyone's schedules & setting goals for our business for 2023 along with goals for myself to be the best boss & co-worker, along with being a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, friend, & so on, that I can be. All of which I feel the need to accomplish before we start planting in 3 weeks even though non of that is realistic.
I realize I cannot accomplish everything in 1 day & it is okay to give myself some grace & take a breath as we all have these kinds of days. We cannot let it define who we are or take over our minds because worrying about tomorrow today does nothing for you but makes your head hurt, hence why I feel like my brain is a scattered mess right now lol!
Time to make some lists, prioritize what is attainable for today & move on to more tomorrow!

I don't know about you, but I am NOT a winter person. So for some fun I just Googled how many days it was until Spring & thought I would share with you! 🤗 86 Days!!
