If you missed my post last week, I’m going open up for a few days on the porch to sell plants to raise funds for storm relief and recovery. Last week we donated the $504 you spent to . This weekend 100% of sales will go to Helene relief and will be donated directly to Appalachia Service Project which has been serving in Central Appalachia (NC, TN, VA, KY, WV) since 1969.

Please come browse this today and tomorrow. I sell plants from my porch and I’m not at a pop-up site right now so message me to let me know when you can stop by and I’ll give you directions/address.

It’s been a year since I posted a sale for . Long story - short version is I was rear-ended by a texting driver on 105 in 2023 and had serious nerve damage to my neck and back. I apologize if I haven’t gotten back to you. I’m doing much better now after having 6 vertebrae fused in my neck in May. It was a bit overwhelming for a while.

I still have beautiful plants. Over the next few weeks, I will open up for a few days on the porch to sell plants to raise funds for storm relief and recovery. For the sales that are listed as a benefit, 100% of sales will go to Helene relief and will be donated directly to Appalachia Service Project which has been serving in Central Appalachia (NC, TN, VA, KY, WV) since 1969.

If you haven’t seen Mongo, the Co**se flower blooming at , take a few minutes to visit. They are posting hours on instagram and you can also watch on their livestream - link in May bio/linktree. It won’t last long and they don’t bloom often (once every several years).

Porch open & Help wanted today!

A few things!

1. Want to learn more about plants? Want more plants? Message me directly if you can help for a few hours or even an hour on the porch today or sometime soon. Looking for volunteers willing to help occasionally pot, prop, & learn in trade for cuttings & plants. . Thanks to so many who have helped in the past couple of years

2. Yes there are lots of plants for sale. Many new ones… Message me to come take a look. I may do an online sale on the plant swap this week as well.

3. REMINDER-canned food drive for through Sunday. Drop off any items in our box and we will drop off next week. Get a free baby plant or cutting if you bring things for the drive! Raid your pantry or pick up a few cans at the store to share a meal and some light.
