We ended 2022 and started 2023 by cutting logs! Would you expect anything else?!? We are grateful for ALL our amazing customers we have met through the years. And this business is truly a family business and we are grateful for the lessons it is teaching our kids!

And if you need firewood....the kids have started their own business and they are doing pretty well!

Big shout out to these 2! They are not the best at having their picture taken, but together they cut about 2100 board foot this weekend. They make a great team and I am grateful they get to spend time together and Clayton is able to gain some great work ethic....and muscles lifting!

We hear that good help is hard to find. Lucky for us, we have some pretty amazing help. Clayton helped cut 4,005 board...

We hear that good help is hard to find. Lucky for us, we have some pretty amazing help. Clayton helped cut 4,005 board foot this week! He plans to help Clint all summer, and hopefully be closer to being able to buy his first vehicle in a few years.

We ended 2021 with cutting (more) logs thanks to the mild weather we had earlier in the month. And we made a few special gifts for a few of our customers. Each year our business grows, and it has been amazing to meet so many people from Iowa, and people who even come as far as Texas! Thanks for your business and we look forward to seeing you in 2022!

Facebook reminded me that we hadn't posted anything in awhile....well....that is because we are still cutting logs. Every.Single.Day. To make this little side business work, our entire family helps out....and they help in all different ways. We have some amazing customers and we have met some awesome people! Grateful for this crazy life. If you need us we will be out by the mill! Major bonfires coming soon!🤪

A couple lost a beautiful Hickory tree in the derecho last August. Clint helped them remove it from their property, cut the tree into the lumber, the couple then had the wood dried in a kiln, and now Clint is a making them some beautiful tables out of the Hickory. Love seeing the beauty after the storm.

Big shout out to this young man who spent about 20 hours out of his weekend helping to cut logs and stack lumber. He never complains and definitely doesn't get paid enough! We cut about 2800 board feet this weekend.

We have been a little quiet over here....just catching our breath from the 2020 derecho that brought us so many logs and the opportunity to meet so many awesome customers. Well....the weather has warmed up and we are back at it! Beautiful day to cut logs.
