Good day to be inside!!!

The first pic is of some recently acquired white oak lumber from a friend's 90 + year old farm house.
The second Pic is the same lumber planed and flattened.
The third and fourth pics are of an absolutely awesome end grain cutting board made from that reclaimed lumber!!!
It checks in at 16.75" x 15" x 2"!!!
The character and the grain of this lumber is incredible!!
We are going to build a new line of cutting boards, chopping boards, and other items crafted from this lumber until we run out!!
Our motto is, " Reclaim, Reuse, Repeat" and we will do this every opportunity we can!

Plenty of new stuff!!!
We have revamped the dimensions of our day-to-day cutting boards!
We have also dressed up our heirloom boards to be even more eye catching!!
We are headed to Rough River next weekend for our first show of the year, but there will still be plenty of stock at The House of Iris Custom Creations for those mother's day gifts.
Don't forget we do custom builds for special occasions.

New stuff!!!!!
Coming to The House of Iris Custom Creations later this week.
Lots of end grain walnut, a dash of color and a helping of style.
Both of these cutting boards are end grain and large and hefty enough for the most demanding chopping work.
They will also add a bit of beauty to your cooking space, whether that be next to your smoker(the walnut, padauk, and maple board is a briskett size; 22x15x1.5) or in your kitchen (the square walnut, ambrosia maple, and cherry).
Check them out when they hit the store!!!
More pics tomorrow after the oil has done its thing and a little oil/bees wax finish and feet are added.

New stock coming in at The House of Iris Custom Creations!
Our new style edge grain cutting boards, 10 tp 11 wide by 16 to 17 long and at least 1 and 1/4 inch thick!! These will run between $75 and $85 each depending how much imported lumber we use.
These three are a fine mix of domestic and imported lumber. Cherry ,walnut, maple, wenge ,black limba, sapele, and padauk all are used in these beauties!!
The last pic is of our new 3d effect board that really plays with the eye!! There is both a main cutting board and a smaller garnish board. The set sells for $275. Split up the main board is $225 and the garnis board is $65.
