The focus of Dauntless Woodcraft and Design is to create simple, classic and functional pieces using as much reclaimed, natural and sustainable material possible. What started off as a three year, part-time experiment in 2004 called Early American Cabinet, has proven that it can be a sustainable business poised to except the greening of the future economy, without the use of credit, excessive overhead or large outlay of capital. All projects are custom built to meet the needs of the customer, not the marketplace, making each piece truly unique. Because availability of reclaimed material is so unpredictable and costly, we actively encourage customers and prospective customers to supply material they would like to see incorporated into their project and any extra material that may offer additional savings to that project. Thanks to the advent of the internet and social media, the money not being spent in advertising is reflected back to each customer in the form of a 10% discount earned on a future project for each successful referral. Because of the importance of friendships, an additional 10% discount will be applied to the project of the referred party in the name of the referrer. We hope to replicate some of the ways of early commerce, while utilizing the latest technology and avoiding the commercial cattle drives carried out in the present day.

Question, how to jazz up painted cabinets to compliment new stone counter? New doors ($2,300), new cabinets $11,000)? Recommend a simple glaze, build new dishwasher cabinet and reinforce exsisting cabinets to handle the weight of the new stone counter. Oh, and a new pantry door, all for under $1,000. (customer supplied counter)
