They contribute to the mood of an area (think dim spotlights vs bright beams), while also adding functionality (think lighting that turns on when you open a jewelry drawer to locate a pair of earrings). Design Tricks and Treats: Every Monday throughout October we're spotlighting a clever interior design "trick." 🥃 Oftentimes, clever interior design heavily involves placement. This home bar—complete with pull-out ice drawer and custom bottle storage—is actually built into and through the wall, coming out into free garage space. This allows it to be flush with the interior wall, saving behind-the-bar space and creating an elegent appearance.
