We discovered this beautiful ruffed grouse nesting behind our cabin the other day. It didn’t like Scott messing around by its nest and tried to chase him away! This was in early June. It had 6 eggs on the nest. You don’t see them very often so we were very excited to witness this! Upon checking on the nest later it looked like they had all hatched and the nest was empty. We still hear the grouse drumming back in the same area, so hopefully this will be a regular nesting spot for them!

In the meantime, We thought some of you might enjoy keeping up with what we are doing in the Turtle Mountains, So we are going to officially rename our page 'Scott & Melanie's Turtle Mountain Adventures'!!! The Turtle Mountains are such a beautiful place filled with flora and fauna of all kinds. After over 30 wonderful years in Baldwin, we have retired and built a beautiful log cabin to spend the next chapter of our lives and would like to share with you some of our Turtle Mountain Adventures!!!

Greetings Gardeners!!! Scott and I would like to thank you all for your support of our business over the past 29 years. We have been so lucky to be able to share this passion with so many of you! As some of you might already know we have sold our business to Jared and Ashley Stoll and their young son Emmett!
