One of the questions we hear often:
“We love our home, but need all new furniture. Can you still help?”

Absolutely. Some of our favorite projects begin with clients wanting to reimagine what they already have, rather than starting from scratch architecturally. Layering in furnishings, rugs, lighting, window treatments, and art can completely shift the feeling of a home and breathe new life into familiar spaces.

Design isn’t always about building something entirely new. Sometimes it’s about seeing what’s already there differently.

The Summerlin living room was designed to feel expansive without ever feeling cold.

A vaulted ceiling and oversized stone fireplace bring scale to the space, while softer layers, muted blues, warm wood tones, tailored built-ins, and collected styling keep it grounded and livable. We loved balancing the more architectural elements with furnishings that invite people to actually settle in.

Unexpected design moments are often the ones that make a space feel the most personal.

In this guest bedroom, we leaned into pattern in a unique way: carrying the wallpaper design onto the upholstered bed while softening it all with airy canopy panels, striped linens, and tonal blues throughout.

Repetition in design doesn’t have to feel predictable. When done thoughtfully, it creates rhythm, depth, and a sense of cohesion that makes a room feel fully enveloping.

Color Edit: Yellow

A color that brings instant warmth, but never shows up the same way twice.

Across our projects, yellow has taken on a range of moods: soft and sunlit in a butter yellow laundry room, rich and grounding in a mustard upholstered headboard, and full of character through vintage dining chairs layered into a more traditional setting.

Then there’s the brighter side: playful yellow tile moments, or a velvet guest bed that adds depth, warmth, and a little unexpected drama.

Same color, entirely different expressions, and that’s what keeps it interesting. 🌞

I’ve always believed the best homes tell a story: layered over time, deeply personal, and reflective of the people who live within them.

My approach to design is rooted in creating spaces that feel both timeless and lived-in, balancing beauty with functionality and emotion with practicality.

Whether I’m designing a mountain retreat or a family home in the city, I’m drawn to thoughtful details, meaningful collections, rich colors and patterns, and spaces that truly support everyday life.

Designer’s Eye: Two-Toned Plaster Walls

For this space, we layered two soft hues of blue plaster within the wall paneling to create subtle depth, movement, and dimension. The tonal variation catches the light differently throughout the day, giving the walls a softness that feels both architectural and atmospheric.

It’s a restrained detail, but one that changes the entire mood of the room in the most understated way.

Loved being featured in this piece by City Lifestyle alongside such inspiring creatives, sharing homes that embrace individuality, collecting, color, and character over trends.

Camp Grizz is such a special project for our family, a chance to explore bold choices, meaningful details, and the idea that a home can complement its surroundings while still standing entirely on its own.

Thank you to for the beautiful feature. 🤍

A room that doesn’t whisper...it plays.

For the Willow Creek formal sitting room, we leaned all the way into contrast and character: a grand piano anchoring the space, a custom green velvet skirted sofa adding softness and structure, and a yellow ceiling that casts everything in a warm, unexpected glow.

Blue trim sharpens the edges, while the curtains do what great curtains should: completely steals the show.

It’s layered, a little dramatic, and meant to be experienced… not just passed through.

The best spaces sound like you. When music is part of your everyday rhythm, your instruments deserve to live out in the open, woven into the design as both functional pieces and sculptural moments. 🎶
