Your garden shouldn’t peak in June. 👇

One thing we wish more gardeners knew? A well-planned garden can have something blooming from spring all the way through fall.

If your garden starts looking tired by August, it doesn’t mean the season is over. It usually means you need more late-season performers!

Think hardy hibiscus, black-eyed Susans, alliums, sedum, ornamental grasses and other plants that are just hitting their stride while those spring and early summer favorites start to fade.

The goal isn’t to have everything blooming at once. It’s to create a garden that keeps passing the baton from one season to the next.

And late summer is actually one of the BEST times to see exactly what your garden is missing. 🌿

The most underrated perennial in the late-summer garden 👀

Allium Serendipity shows up right when your garden needs it most, with purple globe-shaped blooms, beautiful blue-green foliage, and TONS of pollinator activity.

Even better? It’s easy to grow, deer and rabbit resistant, and comes back year after year.

Consider this your sign to add a little ‘Serendipity’ to your garden.

August’s golden hour, is about more than just the sunshine. 🌼

Black-Eyed Susans are officially in peak bloom, bringing that bold golden-yellow color we wait all summer for. Even better? These hardy perennials come back year after year and keep the pollinators happy, too.
