No rain(and we need it) but cranking out the decks.

In 42 years of building decks, I have never had to drive almost 300 miles to find cedar for a wonderful customer in Downers Grove . We have 5 jobs started, and can't get all the materials to finish them. I have an elderly couple in Villa Park that have been waiting for their Trex flooring since June 10th, and we are hoping to receive it November 1st.

Fun at work building decks. Can you imagine the reaction when the homeowner replaces their deck in 40 years!

It's so nice to build a cedar deck once in a while. Almost everything we build is maintenance free.

I have to hand it to my guys. Wind chill was -4 when they arrived at work this morning. They went to Westmont and played with water and concrete and poured the concrete footings for a deck. Thank God the worst is over after tonight.

17 rain outs in the last 5 weeks. Never seen this many rain outs in my 41 years building decks.
