Lots of winter squash at Koh’ee Brackettville Community Garden!
The large orange squash is a Dickinson - the same variety used to make canned pumpkin. It has a beautiful orange color and is ideal for empanadas and pies.
The warty green squash is a sweet meat squash. It has a very firm flesh that is very good for roasting or making candy.
There are also butternut and acorn squash.
Please help yourselves!
