I know times are hard and things look bad, our government seems weak, Russia is mocking us, China is threating us, the Ukraine is crying for help, and our boots are still wearing out. My prices are still the same as they were last year, and I will keep them there if I can. so, call or come see me and we can work on it. I had a lady from the Dallas area call me and ask if I repaired boots. I replied that I did, and she asked the price for a half-=sole and heel cap, so I told her, and she said that she could drive down to Brady and still get her boots done and save money. I don't know what the charge is in Dallas for this work, but I deal with cowboys and working people and they just want quality work and a fair price, so that is what I do.
come see me in Brady on Open Country Road off Hwy 377 north across from the Brady Feed Store. If I'm home I'm open if I'm not I'm closed, in other words my shop is at my house. just ask at the feed store for the Boot Man and they can point out where i Live.

I just finished this saddle holster for a customer today 7/8 ply leather lined with tooling and carved dark brown, stain with two belt holders to attach to the saddle. Fits a Wi******er 30/30 lever action or Marlin 30/30 lever action.

Today is November 21st, and the sewing machine you see in m y picture (Landis "G") is not working. then I have gotten in a multiple score of boots to work on and I have been diligently doing so, but at my own holiday pace. My God and my churches come first, then on Thursday and Friday I work in my shop, if I am at home. this being the holiday season, I may not be at home. So, if you have boots that are in need of repair and can wait for me to get o them I will get them back to you, if not ... then I am a retired Tex's Game Warden, I have a ranch to run, and I have two retirements that help keep my shop running. If it is an emergence I will try to work with you, if not they are put on my list of repairs and are in the repair line. I hope that explains why I have been slow these past few months. I have two pair of boots ready and one saddle ready for pick up but so far no one has come by. I get calls (I'll be there today) no one, but I have them in house and they are ready, I have faith. Keep cool, stay warm, and have a wonderful holiday season and don't forget to praise God for all that you have. Jim K.

Kitchens Custom Saddles is in fine shape, I am behind in work but will stay after it on Thursday and Friday most every week. As some of you know I am a Methodist Pastor with two churches to affiliate and shepherd so most of my first three days is taken up with church work. After all this is my third career so I should be able to make it count, and with God as my helper and guide I know it will be great. So, if you will be patient with me I will get everything out and finished, if you need it sooner I can recommend other shops.
